A MUST TRY Local Landmark!! Clean & Well kept bar & grille. They have no jukebox, no pool table, just old country music that they play low. They are famous for giving you waaaay more than your money's worth at the bar! (Great place to go just to drink!!) Their best two items are their homemade potato salad and ribs. They smoke their own ribs... They are different than most (the meat tastes a little more like ham), but are very good in their homemade barbecue sauce. Yes, the chicken and steaks are good, too. The menu and décor is almost the same now as it was in 1977 when I first ate there as a kid! If you bring you kid up to the bar when you pay your bill, they bartender gives them a little paper sack full of gum & treats! Lunch specials Tuesday - Thursday are good "hearty" meals, that are really inexpensive. Prime Rib Sandwich (Friday's lunch special) is melt-in-your mouth.
